Initial idea 1: Autonomous driving



Introduction:

The initial idea of self car driving is the capability of robotic car that can sense the environment and move safely.it does not require any human input. This idea would be very famous because the vehicles can be easily move with any human interventions and have an impact of multiple industries (Badue, 2021).

Major project theme

The major project theme would be a map on the surroundings based on variety of sensors on the different parts of the vehicle. 


Research ideas:

  • Security in self driving cars
  • Decision making method for the self driving car
  • Traffic signal detection


Project plan :

  • Identification of developers
  • Work with providers 
  • Anticipating challenges 
  • Dealing clients

    Why are your providing information about your major project theme in the initial idea post. This post needs to explore the topic of Autonomous driving, its pros and cons, the underlying technology behind autonomous vehicles e.g. sensors/cameras/algorithms e.t.c. and also maybe shed some light on some of the companies that are producing autonomous vehicles.
